Absolutely love this place. I have been camping here since I was about 10 years old. 305 campsites on the water, several campsites off the water with water access.

Our family really enjoyed our stay, especially my 4 year old! It was my boyfriend who made the reservation so I didn't know what to expect. I was amazed by the view from our campsite and the direct access to the lake. The women's bathroom was flooded so I went to another one a little bit further. The second day (a Sunday), there was hardly anyone left in the camping so I used the men's restroom. Haha

Great place. Had Furnace issue the first night, 4/18/22 and resolved most of the issue the next day. There was a Democrat from Jersey 2 sites down harassing me and my children over my generator running a little longer than it was supposed to. We stuck it out two nights of snow without furnace, the last night was good but that Democrat had to make some comments and turn the high beams on on his truck and face vehicle towards my site, we went inside.

We had site 56 and had a nice little area for swimming and launching our kayaks.

Site 56 - Verizon service - I had 2 to 3 bars the whole time but cell service wouldn't work well. I was rarely able to get online and making a call was nearly impossible. Texts came through okay.
There really wont be a need for a dog park... plenty of trails, fields, parks, etc throughout the campground!
No DEC campgrounds in the ADKs have electrical. They have certain hours for running generators though. Place is awesome. This will be our forth year camping there. Almost all sites on water.
