Really bad customer service. I went for an oil and filter service on a slow Monday morning. The place was empty and I had to wait next to my car almost for 20 min until somebody came out from the offices. I was looking at them and it’s ok I understood. They were too busy looking at their cel phones. Then, the car took almost 3 hours to be done ( again the shop was not full ) and I had to go to their offices to check for an update where I had to find out that the paperwork was there on the table and supposedly the car was just done. I remember when the service was good at this shop. Very disappointed. Hopefully they step up.

I had an oil change done here last October that was projected to last 10,000 miles or 6 months, but the oil ran out much quicker than that. My transmission could've been shot by this had I not caught it sooner. Either the mechanic didn't fill up the oil all the way or completely neglected the job. Very disappointing service.

Update 09/10/2022 Name changed, service got better! The service department runs like a well oiled machine. There's speedier service for routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotation with no appointment necessary! If you're bringing your car in for factory recommended service or general repairs, you can schedule a loaner or grab some coffee and a donut while you wait. Still no practice putting green in the lounge, which is something I'll be talking to the new owners about.... Update!! I recently brought in my vehicle for some warranty services and some personal touches, and like any good consumer, I did some price comparison; While Esserman was not the least expensive, they did offer the best value. let me explain - Installing some VW mudguards, rotating the tires, checking the joints and struts, and installing the internal wiring for a dashcam might cost you less at one of the many shops in town that do this kind of work, but only Esserman has the in-house expertise and talent to do the job right the first time, to factory specifications, and gives you a warranty that is far superior to anyone else's. Add to that the availability of a loaner vehicle or transportation back home or work, the incredible customer service, and the donuts, you can't beat these guys. Did I mention the donuts? When people tell you that taking a car to the dealer for service and repairs is always considered the more expensive option, they are not factoring in something very important. Quality of Service. Price comparisons can be tricky. If you really want to compare apples to apples, you should really factor in the following: Genuine Parts – This dealer encourages you to do some comparison shopping for parts. If you can find the part, they will install it for you. Just make sure you are using an OEM part from a reputable source. Volkswagen Certified Technicians – Many mechanics in town say they know how to work on these cars. The truth is, that while many of them do, most of them don’t. I have had that experience, and it’s expensive. Esserman will warranty their work. Transportation – When was the last time you dropped your cart off at a repair shop and they provided you with a loaner or a Lyft back to work or home? There’s value there that people overlook all the time. These are the big three items I look for when pricing in the costs of maintenance and repairs for my VW. Additionally, this dealer offers little perks like online scheduling, car wash, free Wi-Fi for those that like to wait, express service for oil changes, etc., and donuts and coffee in the morning. (DUNKIN’ DONUTS NO LESS!). Last and certainly not least, get to know your service advisor. Most have been there for years and know their way around the vehicles and brand they represent. They will be your main point of contact and can provide a wealth of information. They are willing to work with you to make the experience a great one from the get-go and provide you with realistic expectations when it comes to turnaround times and pricing. Esserman has always exceeded my expectations when it came to the care of my VW and they will exceed yours.

AWFUL SERVICES, I PUT A STAR BECAUSE EVEN THAT'S WHY THEY ARE CHEATERS, IF YOU DON'T PUT THE STAR YOU CAN'T WRITE THE COMMENT. 3:30pm I CALLED TO FIND OUT ABOUT MY CAR AND NOBODY KNEW ABOUT MY CAR, AFTER INSISTING CALLING A SOMEONE RAMON GOT ME ON THE PHONE AND MME ASKED THAT SOMEONE I KNOW HAD DELIVERED IT TO, HE SAID THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE IT REGISTERED ON HIS COMPUTER THAT HE WOULD INFORM HIM TO THE MANAGER TO INFORM ME AND THEY WILL CALL ME. HE HANG UP THE PHONE. I CALLED AGAIN AND THAT RAMON WANTED TO HANG UP THE PHONE ON ME. IN THE END I CALLED AN UBER AND I CAME TO THE DEALER, CURRENTLY IT IS ALMOST 5pm AND I HAVE NOT HAD THE CAR SINCE 9am. CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT SERVICE AND CUSTOMER ATTENTION IS THAT. THEY ARE A DISASTER.
