We ordered tickets to the recent showing of Kinky Boots at the Omaha Playhouse through Ticket Omaha. Our seats ended up being in a totally different spot, placing us in the back row of the balcony instead of the front row. I'll skip the "convenience" and just go to the box office next time.

Absurd pricing, and I don't even mean the outrageous fees they keep responding defending. Purchased tickets half a year in advance for around $300 only to have them selling the same tickets now that the show is finally coming for $100. I could seriously buy better tickets today for a third of the price than the ones I bought well in advance. They keep responding about how they are the official seller for multiple places and their prices are usually the lowest. Great to know that if I buy in advance to avoid a sell out situation I get gouged on the price. And glad to have a whole list of venues in Omaha that I will never do business with again knowing their ticket seller is this ridiculous.

I love going to the Broadway show tours and I’m glad they’re being brought to Omaha. However, the “processing fee” is absolutely ridiculous: $45 on a $200 season ticket. Nearly a 25% fee with no explanation as to its purpose. This feels like an absolute scam and has completely ruined one of my favorite activities in Omaha. After my season expires next year I will no longer be renewing due to the fees.
