Eastland Mall is a historic monument in Evansville. Being the first indoor mall in Evansville it had a huge following. You had a plethora of stores and shops and you could pretty much buy whatever you wanted. It was clean and tidy and every day there were thousands of shoppers. It was a one-stop shopping expensive especially for the holidays. It was a hangout for kids and every morning you would see senior citizens doing laps. It was a great place to shop and for the holidays it was meticulously decorated.
But with the spawn of the internet people began to shop online and eventually stores began to close. Gone were the crowds and the big benchmark stores began to leave and less important stores moved in. And with the pandemic no one was shopping at brick and mortar stores anymore. I recently visited Eastland Mall and there were no crowds. The only reason that I was there was to visit LensCrafters and the other time it was to visit VisionWorks with my son who was picking up his glasses. We didn't shop because we mostly do that online. Eastland Mall is still a very nice clean mall but gone is the magic. 😞

I absolutely love this place and it’s staff but I don’t quite understand why the hours have not been updated online and have changed multiple times. It’s really hindered my ability to come to this restaurant because I never know when it’s open. Hopefully they get everything figured out. I just spent 20 minutes writing a suggestion to Google to update the hours since the owner has not.

Found a parking spot right away!! Even though it is the week before Christmas, everyone was still helpful through out the mall and very friendly. Re-instated my love for the place!!!
I'm not 100% sure they are on the same property. There is a road that runs between the shopping center and the mall. It is close enough to walk to though.
Yes, there are a couple of stores that sell toys. I would suggest checking out "Go! Calendars and Games". They have a variety of toys and games at very reasonable prices.
And yes, there is a Spencer's and Hot Topic at this location
Enter in the back entrance between Dillards and JCPENNEY'S.... When you see yhe cookie store turn right Zumiez will be on the left hand side next to Journeys
Actually you can get some name brand perfumes at Walgreens for more than half the price. I found some the other day that was original upwards to 150 dollars and at Walgreens it was 60.
Wheelchairs, yes. But not scooters. They're free to use. When you arrive, head to the center court area and call security. They'll have someone meet you there and unlock the cabinet with the wheelchairs.
I think that typically under the age of 15 it's near impossible to get a job anywhere. However if you know of someone private, like a farmer, you could possibly get a job. Good luck with your job search.
Probably nowhere in the mall does that sort of thing, but you can usually get that done at a tattoo parlor. Spencers and hot topic would have the rings though after you get it pierced.
I'm not sure about the wheelchairs. I know about the kids strollers. $5 to rent and you get a dollar back for the return. They also have these riding animal's, you can rent. Their more for older kids.
