Best store in Southern Illinois! The food selection is incredible and the prices are very reasonable. Management is top tier and the employees are all very sweet. I can keep raving about this place. 1000% recommend!

I've been shopping at Neighborhood Co-op since I was younger. Neighborhood Co-op is like Carbondale's version of Whole Foods; the employees are friendly and very open minded, the produce is fresh, they have great herbal supplements and products, and in my opinion it is one of the best small businesses in Carbondale. 👍🏾

I have a water meter that scales bad over 40 ppm. Sink water is 120. Their reverse osmosis water for 30 cents a gallon and 15 cents for members is only 2 ppm. Best place to get organic grapes, organic great tasting pizza and other readily made foods and great freshly made giant cookies. One of my favorite places to eat.

Yes, we have raw Brazil nuts for $18.49/lb. in our bulk department.
That would be available next door at the international grocery store. They had some in the freezer. Don't know if they have it in stock.
We have staff that regularly sanitize our store. You must wear a mask or face covering to shop. (We will not check you out if you are not wearing some kind of a face covering) You can bring your own bags, but you must bag your own grocery. No personal mugs for coffee or containers for our bulk section. To learn more visit our website at https://www.neighborhood.coop/coronavirus
If it's helping to breathe, Ridgecrest has a ClearLungs formula that has had positive reviews. Vitamin D has also been shown to help with lung function. If it's to help with breath, chlorophyll can help reduce bad odors from the body and mouth.
Yes we do!

Yes we do! We currently participate in a Link Match program that doubles your money for fresh local vegetables and fruits. See link for more information https://www.neighborhood.coop/link-match-program
I think they do.
Yes we do! We carry several varieties from local to Fair Trade brands. You can buy it by the bag, fill your own bag with as much or as little as you want, or just get a hot cup of coffee to go! Hot coffee is 1/2 off every day from 7-8am. Or join our Co-op Coffee Mug Club; buy a Co-op mug or tumbler. Whenever you bring in your Co-op mug/tumbler, you only pay half price for your coffee, which includes free unlimited refills while you are in the store!
Yes! We do have local bulk honey. You can bring in you own container or get one while you are here. Note: If you bring your own container, make sure you pre-weigh it a the cash register so that you don't get charged the extra weight.
Honestly, I don't find a lot of relief w/CBD for my Fibromyalgia, anxiety, etc - BUT, the Coop now carries CBD "cigarettes," and bags of CBD buds where you can roll your own (pricey...), and I have found relief for my anxiety - as well as insomnia w/this method of ingestion. To answer your original question, they have a very nice variety of CBD - and I would trust the Coop more than, well - even gas stations, that sell the stuff! The Coop really checks out their products, and customer service is great.
Yes, they sell vegetable glycerin. It's near the check-out lanes.
Unfortunately we don't have the Tortillas. We don't currently have sprouts either, just a micro-green mix and sunflower shoots. However we can do a special order for sprouts. You would just need to talk with our Produce Manager, Chris Neville. If you have any other questions please let us know. Thanks!
All dairy and egg products in store are from free range organic fed sources.
Yes we do. Not sure where you are coming from, we only have a few left at the moment, but we do carry them.
Are you looking for something other than extracts? We have flavored Sweet Leaf Sweet Drops that has stevia in it. Do have a specific brand you are looking for?
Im 85%sure they do but give them a call they can answer that question really quick
I would ask to talk to someone in the dairy Department at the neighborhood coop. I do not think they carry it at the co-op but they may know of a source for you.
Pure pet is better!
