I rented a vintage end unit on 3rd floor for 11 months. The actual unit was adorable! The day we moved in, the office computer was down so we couldn't pay deposits. We then had to run to 3 stores looking for money orders because of the …Shawna - We are so disappointed to see this review come through. My husband and I lived here for a little under a year and we really enjoyed living here. The location is quiet, the staff is super helpful, and the apartments are spacious and reasonably priced. We would highly recommend The Vinings!Thank you so much for the amazing praise LIzzy! We are truly lucky to have you as one of our residents!

Let's start with prior to moving into my apartment, i was told my apartment wouldn't be available for me to look at until the day of me moving in. The day i moved in i noticed the rails on the balcony had this black gunk on it, and my boyfriend and i spent about 30 minutes trying to scrape it off. The lights went out twice within the first three months of us staying there. The whole duration of my lease the neighbors who lived above me were constantly stomping. Not normal apartment noises, but this sounded like construction. All day and hours of the night they were banging on the walls, stomping, yelling at each other, and it was very frustrating. I contacted the office at least 3 times about it and no one responded. I even took it upon myself to speak with the neighbor (who ignored me) and i also left them a note on their door... nothing! The trash area was DISGUSTING. The trash cans were always overflowed to the point where people were just throwing trashbags on the ground. I was often scared to even walk inside of it when i had to and it smelled. Whenever i had friends over they expressed to me that the area smelled like garbage, how embarrassing! Also, for a while the grounds were not being kept up like it should have been. The was also a resident in my same building who had cats and was feeding the stray cats around the neighbors, so a few times i would see cat lurking or laying in the halls, i would even see cat puke from time to time...Moving on, after an incident where misinformed emails were sent out when the parking lots where being paved and peoples' cars where getting towed, i noticed they replaced pretty much everyone in the leasing office. I did notice some changes, the new staff is a lot more resident friendly it seems like. The grounds looked a lot better at least, the trash situation got a little better. But when i contacted the new staff about the noisy neighbors, nothing changed, i honestly think it had gotten worse. I wish i could say my stay at The Vinings was pleasant...it seemed as though things were slowly improving, but i just couldn't renew my lease.
