Do not come here for electric instrument repairs. When I brought my bass in, I was simply told that my issue was non-existent. After I came in and demonstrated my instrument's issue, the repairman instructed me to buy a specific input jack from the manufacturer's website. Then when I brought the new input jack to the repairman he told me that I bought the wrong kind of jack. He offered to buy the part off me. Afterward, I called the manufacture website and discovered that I had actually bought the right part, and the repairman was incorrect. I brought my bass in again, where he claimed to have fixed the issue. But this was only temporary - my instrument is experiencing the same issue it had several months ago. I am not sure if this repairman is inexperienced or if he just blew me off. Several friends have told me similar stories about this character from New York. I am disappointed because I've heard great things about the other luthier who works through this establishment.
