It’s annoying that they don’t bother to update their hours on the website when it changes due to COVID & some people drive really far only to find out their hours have changed. They should update this on the website so that people know.

I came here from San Jose for Marrige certificate. The staffs are nice and friendly very supportive. My fiancé had called them first they didn’t pick up. But They called him back the next day. I called at 4:20- 4:25pm always have someone to answer. We didn’t have to wait long to start paper work.

I have been calling, leaving voicemails and emailing for over a week now and have not gotten a response. I placed an order online 10 days ago and nothing has happened and I cannot get a hold of the office. Poor service and poor management.

You need to apply for the license in person at the clerk's office (you need the application & ID) & pay $75 for a public certificate (confidential is more). Then you have 90 days to get married. After the ceremony you have 10 days to file the signed certificate.
You need an original birth certificate, some sort of legal identification, the fee in cash or check form, and to fill out the forms they provide to you at the Recorder's office.
Yes. 8 to 4 . but County talking about closures.
$75 for public. Confidential is more.
I would like to know myself
Yes it's open from 8:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. you could walk in and ask but their mainly doing appionments so if you want to walk in and ask they will provide you the information you need and if you walk in you have to wear your face mask to go in they won't let you go in .
Yes, you can print out and fill out forms from stancounty.com/clerkrecorder or ask for them when you go. You just need a picture id and info found on the birth certificate.

You can go to the court clerks office and get one. Its helpful if you have a case number, faster service.
It depends on what county you're going after your birth certificate she's a big kid I got mine in Missouri and it was actually $25
I went there for a death certificate.
8 to 4 weekdays. Birth certificates are at 1010 10th Street right now during a remodel. Other services at that location: deaths, marriages, passports, notary, fictitious business name.
Actually yes you can as long as this is the county u got ur divorce in. The recorders office is exactly where the courts documents go once they become official. As far as the wait time goes, that you will have to check with them on how long it takes to get ur copy of your divorce papers. BUT.... if your asking if you can go into the recorders office and ask them for a divorce then the answer is no you have to file papers with the courts to request one. Hope that helped.
Yes
You need to get a court order.
No they are not
Recorder office by appt
80 for kids + 35 for application fee. Photo center Costco.
Yes, you don't need it. You only need both parents ID original and a copy both sides.
If it was me i'd go into birth records office in the county i was born at, with as much information i could such as school records school id , if you need records from school they may charge a few dollars too ,mothers birth certificate, marriage certificate and money in cash the clerk will let you know if its sufficient information or if you need more, you figure homes burn down and records too
yes you do
Yes the office is open and you have to call make a appionment and to get your passporte fast you need a letter from a family member if their sick and notarized why you need your passporte soon or you could walk in and ask wheter you need a letter notarized but pretty sure you do need it but i woul call and ask or walk in and you have to have a face mask to go in.
I'm not really sure but you could walk in and ask them what you have to do and if you go just were your face mask because they won't let you in without a face mask.
Yes you can walk in and get it and you are required to wear your face mask too so you could go in i would recomend you going early morning or afternoon wich better works for you.
No idea all They said was ..a few months
You get it from the clerk recorder in the county where you were married
Hi Amanda as a mom i can tell you , you must go to the office of vital records in the county where you were born your father must be with you to sign a declaration of paternity assuming your mother was not married to him and have them ammend your birth certificate you might have to pay a few dollars cash or check make sure to have your birth certificate to help the clerk identify the issue and guide you to a solution all this is assuming you are over the age of 18 if not maybe your mom can help you
Most instances you can visit the clerk's office and inquire. Please note that it may take a few days or a week for the Coroner's office to send over official reports for incidents of criminal nature. Hospitals usually work faster. The county clerk would only have records for those who passed away within the county. For example, if a man whom resides in Alameda County were to visit Stanislaus county and pass away during the visit, his next of kin would receive the death certificate from Stanislaus County. I hope this answered your question.
Office hours for County Clerk Recorders is Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:00pm 209-525-5250
