When I was there on 7/3/19 carts were being used on th0e course. But I'm not sure if that is always the case. You should call the.proshop to see what the rules are for cart use. It is a very walkable course so carts aren't really needed for most golfers.
I use it all the time, successfully I might add. Great course but tough greens, great staff and great food! Love the 19th hole and deck atmosphere!

Seven Gables 555 ocean view, Pacific grove which is just down the street from the Aquarium. Not cheap but great beer, nice room, breakfast, wine, cookies.
Yes then they moved to MPCC during the Poppy hills renovation.
