We go to Tomi Sushi moorpark regularly, but they stopped taking guest, neither orders at 6;30 pm because overwhelmed waiting list and orders, we then drive to Sushi Tomi in Mountain View, we were not disappointed, both joints offer superb quality food, we were surprised to receive a free appetizer of deep fried fish skin/bone, very tasty

They do not label items as gluten free. Sashimi is gluten free but many common items including tempura, soy sauce may not be.

Provided that you keep away from the soy sauce and anything battered, almost every meal here is going to be comprised exclusively fish, rice, sugar and vinegar. Unless you're an actual celiac, I wouldn't fret, and if you are, you'll no doubt be mentioning it anyway 😉
Not sure if you mean teppanyaki grill or robata grill. Sushi Tomi does not do teppanyaki, where they cook in front of you. They serve some grilled food like salmon or hamachi kama. They're not really a robata grill place either. If you're looking for robata, i would suggest Sumika in nearby Los Altos.
