Thank you for your question. Dr. Okamoto requests $50 for his consultations. He will try to understand the question(s) at hand and then analyze causative factors. Whenever possible, he will take time to explain various options, whenever available, that appear to be most appropriate and effective. This process takes a variable amount of time depending upon the complexity of the problem. When it becomes obvious that more than an hour is needed to explain the issues involved, Dr. Okamoto will invite his patients back at no extra charge. All future consultations for more information with the same individual, even for other problems that were not presented initially, are never charged. Should the person eventually choose a surgical solution from Dr. Okamoto, the original consultation fee is credited toward the surgical costs.
