Great local theater! Excellent productions...well acted and staged. Nice variety in each theater season's offerings. And great value!

The Little Theatre of Alexandria is one of the best community theatres in the DC Metro area. They have their own building (which makes them one of the only community theatres in the U.S. that has one) with plentiful rehearsal rooms, a lovely Shakespeare garden, and a stage with dazzling chandeliers. They have fantastic classes taught by incredible teachers (some highlights include Voice Acting with Mike Baker and Improv with Keely Kirk). If you are interested at all in theatre, I highly recommend looking for opportunities here whether it be performance or otherwise. It has been a joy to learn and perform at LTA. The costumes are of the utmost quality, and the sets are stunning. The lighting and stage crew are all extremely professional and they have fabulous Directors for all of their shows. Patrons of the arts, look no further for phenomenal local talent and stunning productions at a fraction of the cost of other theatres in the area. Photo by Brian Knapp - A Christmas Carol 2021.

The theatre itself is lovely and regal, the staff and volunteers dedicated in its preservation and encouragement of the arts. The play that we saw, the Revolutionists, was Broadway worthy.

Will Rogers' USA was wonderful! LTA's "Small Theater for Unusual Times" is a great idea. I felt safe and enjoyed the evening.

The lot behind the theater is NOT for show parking. It belongs to another building , and you could be towed. There is plenty of street parking, especially if you're willing to walk a block or two, just read the signs carefully. Handicapped placards/plates can park free for 4 hours in metered and time restricted zones, opening up more parking for those who need it. Additionally, Capital One bank at Wilkes St allows parking after 7:00pm evenings and all day Sunday.
Plenty of great restaurants close by. May want to take Uber or Lyft since parking is limited.
In the evening, you can park in the bank parking lot around the corner on Washington Street. Ive done that when i saw something at lta.
Probably not but ask the box office. You could donate them for a tax write-off.
The regular price of tickets is $22. Im not sure what the senior discount is.
