OVR is truly one of the best social programs we have in the United States. Helping people with disabilities find and keep jobs by aiding them with the costs of the machines they need to make that possible. After losing my hearing 8 years ago, I was faced with losing my entire career as an educator until someone told me of this program and they were able to help me afford hearing aids to keep teaching. Thank You for being there for me.

Transition in high school usually starts Jr. or Sr. year. Help with assistive technology, driver training, some tuition assistance are a few things OVR helps with. Call your local office and get set up with a counselor, they are very helpful.
