one of the employees at the front desk was very rude. she’s an old white lady. seems like a racist trying hard not to let it show. very difficult shopping here if she’s always so rude. other than that, i found some pretty nice clothes. the man that was working today also, was very respectful. im not sure about their names.

No, I don't believe you do. They may give you a receipt for tax purposes, but I don't believe they give you money for your donations. Try Plato's Closet (although I've heard they don't give you very much for your donations.) Some of the local consignment shops do. Happy donating!!
