Exploring this site is fascinating for anyone, especially fishermen or those with an interest in geology. The best time to view the actual “blue hole,” which one might mistake for just an ordinary pond, is when the sun is high, allowing the best illumination of its depths.

A very interesting place. They grow the fingerlings and stock the rivers that make fishing in Ohio so special. Right next to the Blue Hole.

No, you are not allowed to fish there at all. It is illegal and there are signs posted all over the property warning you not to do so.
I believe most areas are ground level. Few, if any, steps.
Does it cost anything to visit the hatchery during open hours?
