It's sad when everything is lost or stolen from you you're not on drugs work can't find a place to rent that's affordable so you swallow your pride and go to the shelter for a place to stay until you can figure this out and never mind it takes 2 weeks to get a social security card so you can get your birth certificate to get an ID and get denied at the shelter because you don't have an ID so you have to walk the beautiful streets of Fall River taking the risk of getting jumped getting robbed for your money getting asked to do drugs to forget about your problems but you have the strength to walk away and hopefully something will happen#imbroken

My Family and I had the worst experience in this money loving place. After a while they will do anything and everything to get families out just so they can make some fast cash from the government for they own living. They have no real experience knowing what the struggle is like but will sure act like they do from a "Buisness" Perspective. They all suck up to the big hauncho so be careful. They're Racist, Prejudice and play alot of Favorites. Not to mention okay with getting fake paystubs to move you out. Be careful or this place will screw you over, even for just a quick buck.

You have to go to DTA first and speak with a DTA caseworker, to refer you to the appropriate shelter.

You have to go to DTA first and speak with a DTA worker. Be aware that DTA can place your family in a shelter ANYWHERE in the state
No you don't, BUT.. this particular shelter is for families. There are shelters for single people. You can reach out to social service agencies, such as United Way, for help
