I visited the facility and you can tell a lot about a facility by how you are welcomed when you walk through the doors. Carole at the front desk was wonderful. The facility looked clean and smelled great. I would recommend anyone looking for a facility to check out Windsor Health.

My mother was in this facility for a few months and called me crying and miserable at least once a week. The staff was short and disrespectful to her and wouldn’t help her out of bed to walk and regain her strength. Management lied to me and told me she refused help and they also told me she only had a few months to live. Her spirit was broken. I moved my mother to AZ where she’s thriving and full of life now. (oh, and it’s $13,000/ month to live at Windsor rehab btw)

This facility was absolutely wonderful to my father!! He could not have ended up in a better place for rehab after hospital discharge. I do not even know where to begin with all the staff and their kindness. Carol and Janice were friendly, informative and very professional either in person or on the phone when I dialed the main number at the facility. They greeted you at the door. The Physical Therapy team for my dad went our of their way!! In order to persuade my dad to exercise and get his strength back, for example, they played Frank Sinatra for him or they promised an ice cream treat if he would do some of the therapies. Katherine and her team were excellent with my father!! The nursing staff was amazing!! The nurses, CNAs and PCAs were great!! My dad was fed his meals because he was unable to eat on his own. He was clean, dressed and in a chair everyday. I know those things sound as though it should be done without question but not all facilities in my experience for my father have been that way after discharge from the hospital. When it was time for discharge from this center, the social worker Oscar and business manager Varsha were helpful and compassionate. Oscar explained to me what the next step was for my fathers plan of care. He was very caring about the fact my father was going to have to have hospice care. He contacted the appropriate services and they got in touch with me. Varsha helped with other financial questions. Lastly, during the whole stay they have a wonderful doctor that tends to the patients there. Dr. Robbins contacted me multiple times with updates on my father. He was very caring and patient with all my questions. Dr. Robbins really made the decision of finally having my father have hospice at home more acceptable to my mom and I. That reality is hard to digest. He was soft spoken and so kind in our conversation regarding end of life. I would never hesitate having another family member or close friend referred to this rehab center!!

Steer clear of this place. A family member of mine was placed on hospice care on a Saturday and they let her wither in pain because "it was the weekend". She was in agony instead of calling an on-call doctor or making the slightest attempt for a solution, she was told "you have Tylenol". She hasn't taken a pain pill a day in her life, and on her way out, to treat a person like this is sick. As the medical proxy for this family member, i have called the facility severaltimes and two different nurse "supervisors" were not only were extremely unprofessional and rude, they hung up and then never again answered the phone for the entirety of the night. I could have been any body else's family member calling but apparently my calls was important enough to not answer the phone for an entire shift. I'll be reporting to health officials but wanted to share here so that no one else has to experience this. As my family member said, "i would' treat my pet rat this bad".
