The worst power company ever!!!!!!!

Our family has had nothing but positive experience with Lexington Utilities. We live next to a busy highway, so there are often car accidents, and storms that cause the power to go out. When the power is out for ANY reason, we promptly receive a text message that the outage has been acknowledged, along with an estimated time of repair. They have NEVER taken more than a few hours to fix it, and it has ALWAYS been sooner than projected. I have my power bill on auto pay, so I have never had issues with reconnecting fees, etc. The few times I've interacted with Customer service have been great as well. I don't understand what people expect if they don't pay bills timely. It's not the company's fault if you don't pay. Before moving to Davidson county, we lived in Forsyth County and Duke energy was our provider. They were a horrible provider. We're glad we are not dealing with them anymore.

Deposit might be reasonable for some but the bills are ridiculous. Mine has went from 250 to 600 in just 4 months for a 1200 square foot house!
