I went on a day where it was raining, but we still set sail. The food left a bit to be desired but I didn’t expect too much better going into it. Overall, just a cool experience to end off a day and enjoy the evening. I would recommend for couples, birthdays, or group events.

I would suggest doing almost anything else in Savannah over this! Only wish could leave a 0-star review. We had a horrible experience. We did the dinner cruise with a window seat, about $75/person. The food was mediocre at best. The selection was decent, but the quality was very poor. I’m used to southern-style cooking, but this was a disappointing example of it. Between my wife and I, we tried pretty much everything. The prime rib and the cobbler were decent, but the veggies and potatoes were under cooked (or partially overcooked, depending on what you got). The fish was a salty, soggy flop of a filet; and the shrimp and grits were a runny mess. We each ordered a drink. The first one my wife ordered they were out of, the only hard cider option. The second one she ordered was not good. I got an old-fashioned, as I get most places I go. This was the WORST I've ever had! Our server made us feel as if we were an inconvenience to them, asking for a tea refill (which I never got) and more salad dressing. They let the plates build up on our table until there was barely any room. We had finished dinner and still had 20-30ish minutes left on the cruise, but they had someone hunt us down outside with the check for our 2 drinks while I was having a cigarette. When I returned inside to pay the bill, they looked again bothered that they had to wait on me. I was a server/bartender for over 20 years and know people live off tips. I always start a tip at 20%, but they barely earned the 10% they got! The bathrooms looked disgusting and smelled horrible. The paddle wheel wasn't spinning to even give the illusion of it being part of the boat ride. The only good part was the band, and the view was pretty nice from the outside decks. ‘IF’ you really want to do this boat ride: go out to a nice dinner before, then do the sunset cruise (without the dinner), and just drink beer or wine, if anything. Hopefully, they will have that in stock on your cruise! I have already been and will continue to warn people about how bad this experience was.

First time on a riverboat food was great service was outstanding the tour guide was entertaining

Street or lot parking. There are some general lots due to it being a commercial shopping area. No specific parking for the boat ride to my knowledge. The lots are reasonable and easiest.
It depends upon the type of cruise you choose. Prices range from approximately $23.95/person for a basic river cruise to $69.95/person for a dinner cruise. Their website provides the details.
I think you meant to post this somewhere else lol.
Just did it yesterday...you can buy them there. You will see the sign telling you were to go once you walk down by the boat. Its to the right of the water.
Price is on the website. Included meal and about a 40 minutes cruise up and down part of the river. Dont pay extra for window seat not worth it
Can't find what age qualifies as a youth on the website
Shouldn't be a problem it's a large boat.
The price is around$35 pp.
Hi there, we are not a casino boat. We offer several different cruise options from Narrated Sightseeing to Dinner Entertainment cruises. Each cruise is a little different, all that information, as well as pricing, is available at savannahriverboat.com.
I did the reservations online but as everyone said you can do it on site too. Online is more convenient.
That's accurate. There is a level on the boat so you can sit inside. Unless there are storms you're good to go!
Yes and No. They do offer pics but they are 36$ for an 8x10 and 2 5x7
1 1/2 ride and I got the tickets online
Sorry. I don't know. I did not get a tour pass.
I'm a server on the RiverBoat, most cruises are about an hour and a half.
Yes, we did it the same day. Just do it early so you can have the chance. Enjoy the romantic diner and the beautiful sunset.
I'm not sure about groups. However, you do serve yourself
The pictures are not worth buying. Use your phone to make your memories. Do not eat there, you would be better off getting good from the local restaurants. The good wasn't great and way over priced. Bring your own water to keep cool. . Honestly it's not very entertaining. The trolley tours are so much more, and you can hop on and off to eat and look around.
Optional
Yes
Visit their website or just call them. I believe you will find tickets for it, however, try to get them early, sure to this event being very famous. Good luck and enjoy!
Things have changed due to virus so suggest you check directly
They should have the info on their website.
I would call them and get it changed I am sure they will switch it for you
Sure do
December 2, 2019 6-9
They post the schedule on the website
You have to contact them or go to web site for the information.
I liked the food offered. It was fun to eat on the cruise. But it is separate from the cost of the ticket.
We ate dinner not lunch. There was beef brisket, shrimp and grits, different salads, and chicken. Dessert were cakes and pies.
No carry on alcohol. Wear comfortable shoes/clothes of course., Camera.
Me and my family went on the gospel cruise everything was wonderful and it's kids friendly
We just parked in designated area along the cobblestone road there along the river....didnt cost much
No chrck groupon. We got discount tickets that way.
Not sure. But it's very dog friendly town. I would phone and ask
My family and I just stayed on River Street and decided to do the cruise. We took our children. But, it is not really kid friendly; especially because of the alcohol consumption.
The tickets are very reasonable. Groupon has specializes and I would also recommend going to a tour place in New Orleans. They will have plenty of deals along with free meals and sights to see.
We had a southern type dinner but ours was a group. Give them a call.
It depends on whether you take the lunch or dinner cruise or just the cruise itself. If you Google savannah boat cruises, you will find different options, prices and deals.
We purchased our tickets one hour prior to leaving, we had no problems getting on the Riverboat.
Either go directly to their website or call them. Beware of 2nd party bookings!
Might contact there website and ask the restaurant manager.
I did not measure it but it is not as far as you would think. It only goes to the paper mill before turning around and heading back. So maybe 3 miles round trip. I did enjoy the trip though. The buffet wasn't worth the price in my opinion.
The tables are in an often room just like a regular restuarant.
There is a shuttle from the Westin to River St.
How much is the dinner
Rain, drizzle but not storms. The boat has an indoor sections........
No I don't believe so. It is only the part right there at Savannah
Very nice restrooms and on every level, I believe.
They don't have their own lot. I recommend street parking on E bay street as close to the hyatt as possible. Meters are free after 5pm. There is a public elevator at the the entrance to the Hyatt That will take you down to River st and just few steps from that Beautiful Georgia Queen.
I believe is there another and I haven't been on it .. but Savannah Riverboat was terriric and worthwhile. Clean, good food and helpful folks
Yes. Kids would enjoy the view from the top deck!! Not sure the buffet would empress kids
I asked when we went last summer and they did NOT.
Yes. Double check with the manager in charge
If you're looking for a gourmet meal, then this is not the venue. Go to the Pink House for that. This is a buffet meal. This is about the atmosphere, the tour, and learning something on the tour. It's entertainment. It's fun.
A little cool topside but the rest of the boat was nice
If I remember correctly, my tickets were around 40 bucks per person. The cruise featured a band, food and drinks you could purchase during the 2 hours ride.
Booking early is smart, although when I went, we booked a week in advance.
$23.95 - $65.95 per adult depending upon the type of cruise you choose.
They currenltly range between $23.95 - $65.95/person for adults depending upon the type of cruise you choose. There are basic sight seeing cruises, as well as Brunch and Dinner Cruises.
Dinner buffet for adults is about $60 and kids about $35. Lunch buffet $45 for adults and $25 for kids. For just a cruise with no food is about $30-ish for adults and $20-ish for kids. You can also buy little snack baskets there plus drinks.
