My first CKC knife: a Tuckerman Ravine (7005) from the 2011 IME Ice Fest. I loved the size, weight, grip and of course the speed assist of this model. The blade holds its edge and I was surprised by how much I ended up using the serrated edge. This last year, I lost one of the screws that holds the clip in place. I couldn't find a screw replacement and contacted the company for specs and purchase options. They were so quick to respond and were amazingly generous in offering to send me new screws. When the package arrived they included some beautiful unexpected bonus items with the claim that my original Tuckerman model is no longer produced. This was truly a surprise and the best part was that the package included a hand written note. Who takes the time to do that these days?! Solid knife and solid team makes an amazing company.

they make a very fine product much better than my old military-issued paratrooper knife of the 1960s only problem I have with this company is there's no way to check an order status on their website n there's no way even to get in touch with them by phone. I tried for the past 3 days from now on I will order from a third party company in order to get a colonial Cutlery product at least I can talk to someone and find out a order status thank you do not get me wrong they make a very high-quality product they just need to be more tentative to customer service issues

The best customer service. Bought one of there used knives at a pawn shop cheap, Buck 110 style $10. Great quality blade and heavy knife. Sadly after 2 weeks the tension rod fell out. Called the company and got the voicemail. Didn't leave a message but a guy called me later on that day. He asked if I had called earlier and if I needed any help. Blew me away. Was impressed they took the time to follow up on a missed call with no message. Talked a while . Was disappointed they didn't make the knife anymore so we're not able to fix it. But will buy my next knife from them. Highly recommended!

I believe you have everything you ordered and are good.

Do you sharpen butcher knives for households ?

the best way is on a 120 grit sanding belt machine, you can purchase them from Harbor Freight pretty cheap.
