It's a place where you go retrieve the part you need from a wrecked car. I'm not a person complaining . Organisational skills are paramount. That's all I'm saying.😬

So when I go in I'm told that military is free admission but the girl at check in still took my money. Then I went to go pay for my parts after I hunted down what I needed to only be shocked that the price was double than what the website said. When I tried explaining to guy at checkout he didn't want to hear it. He was charging me the same price for a headlight assembly as what I would pay online new for it. I was only getting the top part of headlight assembly, not the bottom half as it was for a 2001 chevy s-10 but he wouldn't budge. Just told me the price is what it is even if you do not get the complete assembly. This was my 1st time at this location and certainly my last.

The Columbia location closes it's doors at 5 pm and if you make it the before 5 you can pretty much stay on the yard until almost 6pm I arrived at the Columbia location on 08/05/2022 at 4:45 pm just to be told I couldn't enter because it was 5pm I clearly showed the service attendant that it isn't even 4:50pm yet then she proceeds to tell me that oh ok I still can't let you in because my till has already been taking up I've come to this location since they have been opened in Columbia sc and never have I ever been treated like that especially since my car broke down right up the street from the location and I had to walk in the 100 degree weather just to try to pull a part that only takes 5 mins to retain smh
Go to pullapart.com and see if they have that model. Then go to the yard and see if they are still on the car. Personally I wouldn't trust trying to get used 14 year old mounts.
Hey do you'll have in tire out there . That are p22570/14 in stock. For a 1995 ford ranger Truck pick truck.
Go to Pull a Part's website look up year make and model if thw car you looking for comes up there's a go chance that they may have rhe parts you looking for specially if they have more than one of the cars you looking for.
A good thing to know at pull-a-partwhen you ate looking for a car is this. Note the date that the vehicle arrived on the yard. From that arrival date the car will stay on yard roughly 70 days. Now it can be longer if its a car that is highly sought after. Also if the car you seek has only been there a few days, then your chances of getting the part you want is available on the car. Wait to long and the part you seek may be gone. A good example is Toyota 4 Runners. Parts for that go very quickly. It's al.ost like watching nature turn it from a car to a skeleton. That being said, Pull A Part is most definitely the place to go. Good customer service and prices are very reasonable. I vist them almost each week or every other week. Good luck on your 350Z

The best way to make sure you're getting working parts is to have a mechanic with you to have a qualified person to let you know what's a good part that may work and if that part doesn't work you can always return it and get credit toward another part.

Pull A Part usually buys vehicles from local people. So, they do not have a tow truck of their own. If you can get it to them, at their yard, they will buy it from you.
They have vehicles come in all the time. Visit the website to get all the prices for everyrhing down to the screw. Then check the vehicle inventory. You won't know if the hub cap is there until after you get there.
Daniel is right. They have a list at pullapart.com/pricing. Another lost that will tell you where on the lot the car is and another list that will tell you what other cars have the same part you ate looking for.
The best way to see the condition is to go there and look at all the same body style. You can also check on the website for the location you need to see if the truck is there in the yard.
Ehhh... Website isn't always accurate. I've checked the website and requested notifications about certain needed parts but never found them online nor got the text about the availability. Ended up just going to the yard and found the vehicle I needed. Actually, two. So, I'd suggest just going up there.
Do y'all still have mechanics to pull transmission and if so how much do they charge
Travis Green | Sep 13, 2019
Angel Lynn | Sep 13, 2019
Yes they can provide help to pull transmissions and engines. Charge may vary. Go can find more detailed information on their website or call customer services.
You can go to the website and search to see if they have the vehicle you're looking for and you can search for prices of parts but you have to actually go to the yard to see if the part you are looking for is available. If your vehicle is not there they can order one from another location.
You can go online to their website and it will tell you if they have the vehicle you're looking for but you have to go to the yard itself to see if the part you need is available.
You can go online to their website and see if they have what you're looking for by vehicle or by part. If they don't have what you're looking for you can always set it up for them to order one from another yard and/or set up online to notify you when it comes in. It is $2pp non-member and $1pp members to enter the yard. You can get golf carts for $27 or wheel barrows for free to help transport your parts and tools.
No, they don't. But you can. This is a self service, used auto parts store. You go find the parts you need and you pull them yourself. You can get a transmission for $80 with a 30 day warranty.
I need a bed liner for a chevy S10. Since you pull your own parts, do you drive into the yard to get what you need? I would think that I'd have to have some way to get it to my truck if it's heavy or terribly awkward to carry.

Pull a Part do buy old cars. They have a large selection of foreign and domestic to meet almost all your parts need I've been dealing with them before the Columbia store opened used parts it's hard to beat them
They mark what you come in with, but you have to show them before you hit the yard...too many people actually steal things from them and say they bought it somewhere else... receipt would have helped...

They have an online search engine to narrow down whether they have that model car on site. However, they don't have every part indexed, just the cars. Some parts are indexed, but not all. The cost savings offsets the time required to visit the site and the staff there is more than helpful. I believe it is well worth the trip.

Pull a part doesn't test starter if you want you can get the part take it to places like O'Riley's where they can test if for free, and if it don't work take it back and get a credit.
You would have to call them and see. I'm sure there are many factors that may determine how much they may give you for it. Unfortunately your question can only be answered by an employee who works there.
