Yes, their docks are very tight, you have to back up from the street, but, very helpful, polite, respectful and hardworking people. Once they had a dock for me, I was in and out within 30 minutes. Very efficient people, you can't compare to other chicken plants. 6 drivers ahead of me but I was gone within 2hrs of checking in.

Why no-one got paid, but they still ordering birds? This is not a good company to work for. I called HR and they say the bank didn't send out checks! Then got rude and hung up on me. This company SUCKS! I don't see why anyone would want to work.

It varies; on the cone line, there are loaders, who put the birds on the moving "cones" that go down the line; shoulder cutters who make the first cuts on the bird around the wings and breasts; wing rounders who cut the wings off the rest of the way; then a spot to pull the breasts off; then tender scorers who cut the tenders, making it easier for the tender pullers to get them off. And that's just on the cone line; there are a number of other jobs, such as cutting bones out of chicken breasts, working in the box room to prep cardboard product boxes, scale operators who check the weight on boxes of product and print and stick on labels.... there are a LOT of different jobs on production.
I work in the QC department there.... the plant is definitely hiring production workers, for both day and night shifts. We may also still have a couple of openings in the Quality Control department. All you have to do is go to the HR office, in the strip mall across the street from the plant, and ask for an application; they'll want you to fill it out there in the office, otherwise you can apply online at House of Raeford. 10 and some change .. a dollar more if you cut on the line.. no raises until a year no holiday pay until a year ...if you need a job its ok but other than that it aint worth it
