I am giving them four stars because Dr. Yant is wonderful. He also has a very tall African-American female medical assistant that is absolutely wonderful as well. I’ve found her to be absolutely hilarious and between her and Dr Yant, it really made a very stress-free appointment. But the medical billing staff could definitely use some work. I was advised that I would not have a co-pay for a recheck appointment and they decided to bill my insurance even though they advised me that normally you don’t. I would not have come in for my recheck because I really didn’t need to. had I known that I would’ve been charged another $40. Very frustrating because I’m todays economy 40$ goes a long way. In the future please do not advise patients that they most likely will not have a co-pay when they come back for a recheck.

I called two weeks ago and made an appointment to see dr. Yant and I thoroughly covered with the office staff whether they were Mass compliant and we're socially distancing within their practice. They assured me they were taking every precaution. So I show up today and not one employee has a mask on. When I enquired what the problem was they said they didn't have to anymore because our mayor removed our mask mandate. But mayor Curry's mask mandate says that you could go without masks when you could safely socially distance. Now I have to find another orthopedic doctor. But the real problem was when they told me that I could wait in my car and they would call me if I felt safer that way. I waited an hour and a half and they never bothered. What a horribly unprofessional way to treat a patient.

I have to say Dr Yant saved my husbands feet. LITERALLY!! After he had open heart surgery, the suppressor medicine caused him to get gangrene and his feet were completely black. We had literally just gone through my husband on life support and his open heart surgery and couldn’t take much more. The podiatrist at the hospital and they recommended was just beyond awful. I can’t explain how important it was to find a great podiatrist as losing his feet was realistic. We were recommended to Dr Yant. He took the time to explain the steps, teaching us how to care for his feet that was needed to save his feet and toes. At one time we thought he would lose both feet - then one foot then his toes and now my husband will only lose the tip of his big toe. Thanks to Dr Yant! If you have a serious condition I wouldn’t trust any other podiatrist ever.

Dr. Yant has helped.me tremendously. I was hospitalized and when I was released, the Dr.that was treating me was not doing much. My toes and foot were at jeopardy of amputation. I was referred to Dr. Yant from a close friend. Since going to Dr. Yants, my feet have made a tremendous recovery and not at risk of amputation anymore. I am so grateful to have Dr. Yants and his staff !

Go down Southside past Beach Blvd and when you get to the intersection of Cunningham and Southside, turn left and then left again to get onto the service rd (almost like a u turn) and it will be the first driveway on your right
