Had a confirmed passport appointment and was told we didn’t. Had to take the afternoon off and was told too bad, reschedule. Time for the government to get out of the mail business and let the private sector handle it.

Upon dropping off a postal load we were greeted by one individual which was pleasant. However, we encountered one bullheaded staff member who would not accept the fact that we can not enter the building if we are not postal staff. We offered to allow the staff to see an email which is clearly instructing non-postal staff they can not enter the facility when delivering loads. For whatever reason the young lady wanted the name of myself and co-worker. She had no right to ask for our names. By law we don't have to give our names when dropping off a load. Especially when we've done nothing wrong. She wanted our information however, when I asked for the email to notify upper management it was not given to us. We were accused of arguing with that particular staff member when no one yelled at her or rendered confrontational behavior. We simply tried to get this bullhead individual to understand we were doing as we were told by not entering the facility. It would of been a pleasant delivery had she not started with her distasteful drama.
