This place has come so far since the UPMC takeover. The ER is beautiful and the staff is tremendous. There is a decorative fireplace, a self check in computer, and nice pictures on the walls in the waiting room. There are multiple rooms in the ER itself that allow for many types of emergencies. The wait times usually aren't too bad but they do have busy times throughout most days. I definitely recommend this ER if you should ever have an emergency that simply can't wait.
