Great spot to have a beer, or two, along with some food. Shrimp and grits were really good! Awesome outdoor space out the back that is dog friendly. Staff was super friendly and great at explaining all the different beer styles and tastes. Definitely worth a stop!!

Great atmosphere and people. Easy-going, beer-loving folks and good eats. Relaxing garden for beers, food and conversation! Highly recommend!!

Amazing! Music - great. Beer - great! Atmosphere - amazing. Sorry about the empty trout dip picture - finished it way too fast! An all-round wonderful trifecta of delightful atmosphere, friendly humans, and darn tasty beer.

Wonderful place to have a pint. The patio is absolutely gorgeous, the beers are great, and the food is tasty. I would love it if the watershed trails connected to the back of the brewery so you could hike down from the campground, but that's wishful thinking at its best.

Hi Bella, we don’t take reservations but we appreciate a heads up for a larger group. Because of the size of your group we will save tables in our upstairs taproom for you. What time will arrive? Please note that we are very casual and offer counter-service, which means you order food and beer at the bar and it is delivered to your table. Also, our kitchen is small and each item is prepared individually. So unless it is a prescheduled, catered event, all meals will not come out at the same time. We ask your understanding with this. That said, I think you will really enjoy it and we look forward to seeing your group.
Yes. Food is incredible!!!
There is no dock
Absolutely
The couple who decided to start the place, the Shirey’s, they wanted to make a place that reminded them of an extension of the living room/a crab shack/ a wharf restaurant… and so good beer and Cajun/comfort food. Then the history of the space is that it used to be the fish hatchery for the Tennessee valley authority. They did all manner of fish tagging, studying and such as well as tree, pollen, insect and any other research for the park. Plus it was offices for the TWRA. Thanks for asking!
Yes, when I was last there there were several selections.
Thank you for asking. We serve craft beer and hard cider from Gypsy Circus. No wine or liquor. Our cork fee is $5/bottle.
Yes, it's a fun place for kids. They have a fish pond on the outside deck. Across the street is the river, dam and walking trails.
Hiking only
Hi Andrew. Thank you for asking. We are in the process of increasing our kitchen capabilities with a new buildout. When that is complete we will be increasing hours.
Stephanie, it sure is. We adore friendly pets on leash. Thanks for asking!
Unfortunately we are closed on Monday-Wednesday. Hope you have a happy new year!
I honestly don't know. That would be a question for the owners. Sorry I couldn't help.
You sure may. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome in the beer garden outside and in the downstairs taproom. Thank you for asking!
