My pcp up and closed her practice right after she ordered numerous tests on me and I didn't get any warning. I needed a new doctor fast and was recommended to Dawn Yonkee. I was scared because I haven't had any good luck with doctors, then I met Dawn. As I write this I'm crying. She is a phenomenal person. She cares, has heart and makes you feel human and that everything is going to be ok and for once in my life I believe I will. I'll never change doctors again. She's stuck with me. Dawn, thank you for everything.

I won’t be going back to Dr. Berchelmann’s office. I had gone there because I had a uti that I couldn’t get rid of. I had first gone to the walk in to get some antibiotics which they did give me but didn’t make it go away completely. So, rather than going back to the walk in, I went to my actual Doctor. At first, I was told they could see that there was a uti and it looked like the start of one but since I had taken my antibiotics, they knew it was still the same uti. I was told they were going to have to send it to the lab for a culture to see what to give me to actually get rid of it. Well, a couple days later I was told that the lab said there wasn’t enough growth to do a test- BUT there was still something there. I was told by Amanda that she would speak to Dr. Dawn and give me a call back. Never head back. I called her the next morning and told her there was definitely something still there and exactly what I was feeling. So, again, I was told she would speak to Dr. Dawn and give me another call back because they were confused why I felt like I had a uti when the lab said there was nothing there, even though I was told when I first went that there was definitely a small something there (probably just not enough for a lab to do a test on). Well, no surprise I never got a call back. So back to the walk-in I went and no surprise there, Dr. Salvato tells me “well I’m sure you already know this but you have a uti”. I said “yes I did know that” and I told him about how Dr. Berchelmann’s office saw that I had one but then a couple days later acted so confused and like I was an idiot. His response was “I’m not sure why they would be confused. It’s plain as day that you have one”. So, long story, but this is why I won’t be going back. I don’t appreciate being made to feel like I’m an idiot and then not even getting so much as a call back. Also, the thing is, if you can’t tell that someone has something as simple as a uti..what’s going to happen when there’s something more serious that’s wrong? I’ll pass. It’s a shame because I did love Dr. Dawn but I’ll go somewhere that believes what I’m telling them about how I’m feeling and then has the courtesy to call me back.

I Had an injury to my back / hip and had my wife call to find out if he could recommend a good Dr for my back/hip. It was not severe enough for the ER but bad enough i needed some help now not in 2 months so I just wanted a recommendation . They said they could get me in to see him in a couple of days or I could come in after 1 pm as a walk-in. After a 1.5 hr drive from my job which I really did not have time to be away from I was told that he was "swamped" and I would not be able to see him. WTH all I wanted was to know who was a trustworthy orthopedic In this area. I know hes not an orthopedic so an appointment wasn't needed with him just tell me who I can trust as I'm relatively new to the area. Thanks to his Staff for costing me a half days pay for nothing. OH YEAH I'M STILL IN GREAT PAIN!!! AND IN NEED OF AN ORTHOPEDIC WHO CAN SEE ME BEFORE 2 MONTHS FROM NOW WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO THE ER.

I don't know what specific medications he will prescribe but you should call the office and let them know your needs and they can tell you whether or not they can take you on as a new patient.
