They charged us an “incidental fee” of $20, but there really wasn’t a wet bar, or anything and it isn’t refunded for three business days, which means the onus is on me to make sure it is refunded days afterward. Clean room, nice staff, quiet, but the place is under renovation and the hallways were strewn with bits of drywall, no pool or exercise room. Breakfast was not included with our rate? The rate should have been lower.

We asked if there is a cot available because my teenage son is now over 6 foot. I guess we’re getting to the point where our kids want their own beds. They did not have a cot available but Brianna at the front desk suggested an upgrade to a 2 room suite at no cost. The suite was awesome both rooms were very clean. In my job, we talk about the delighting customers. She certainly did that. Thank you to Brianna and the other gentleman at the desk. Everyone was kind and quick to help. This was our first stop on our road trip and it’s off to a good start. Thank you!

Awesome hotel! It's a 5-10 minute walk to the metro/train station, the staff is friendly, and the hotel was in good shape where they have finished renovations. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

Good experience and a good price. Satisfied customer. I stayed here one weeknight in January 2022. Online I got a AAA rate of $80 for the room ($90 total), which is a great price, and the room was good. The lobby is very attractive. I did not see the pool during my stay. My room had mini fridge and in-room coffee, but no microwave. TV and bathroom were good so I have no complaints about the room. The only drawback is the lack of free breakfast. I had forgotten that one of the main concepts of Courtyard hotels is that breakfast is not included. There is a full-service breakfast and lunch restaurant located in a high-rise building across the street, and it's quite decent and without super high prices. Overall I was pleased with my choice for this one-night stay near Washington DC.
