This postal office is not the same as before. They have complete new staff and most of them are not professional. They don’t look happy to work there, even when they ask you how can I help you, you feel you add such a burden to their work. Not a friendly place any more.

Everytime when internet is down they only accept cash, which apparently happens quite often here. Shame.

I miss Eddie—during my first few years of living in the Village, I frequented our local USPS. Convenient, seldom had to wait, always helped by the friendliest man in the city: Eddie. He helped everyone as if we were family. I even saw him step away from his work window and rush to the Post Office door to help a disabled person enter. What a guy! Ever since he retired, we have had one disinterested person after another. It’s as if these folks are petulant interns, made to do scut work for hours every day. Life is what we make it, folks!
