My neighborhood store has really gone downhill! Got some deli food then went to checkout when I noticed 1. Only 2 lanes were open and 2. Lines were halfway to the back of the store. Quick thinking....since my items were from the deli I went back there only to be told the could not check me out. There are several problems with this: 1. The PIS terminal was on and fully operational. 2. There were 3 people in the deli with little or nothing to do. 3. Item 2 is not fair to the other cashiers that have to deal with the long lines 4. I had just come from Evergreen Village Safeway, and was happily checked out in the deli (and they only had 2 people (. This is the sign of laziness, but more importantly a poorly run store. When I asked why they would not check me out I was told "we are not allowed". Then why is the POS terminal on? I was told "only for the morning crew". Really??? I just left without any items.

I really hope we came here on a bad day. Pheeew. This Safeway store has the highest prices I've ever seen🤑. We even compared it with the delivery app right then and it was cheaper to just have it deliver. Otherwise decent, clean store and good staff!

So I bought a bf burrito few days ago and I was surprised for the amount and taste of ingredients . Was made by a lady . Today I ordered the same and it was totally different way WAY! less ingredients and not fully warmed. Made by guy .

It's a nice store,well organised for all basic needs.Good variety and does not take too long to find a item. …
