I contacted Simply Healthcare to find a primary care provider for my son. I had originally called on August 19, 2022 to find a new provider in my area because the original doctor he was given did not answer their phone. I called & changed his provider, contacted the new provider’s office, for which I was told they didn’t take patients of his age. I contacted Simply Healthcare again on Monday, August 22, 2022 for which I spoke to a customer service associate by the name of Marc. As he searched for a provider in my area, by my zip code, a few minutes I listened in silence or as he talked to himself. At one point, I asked him if there was a problem locating a doctor this way. He explained the process, but then asked me if I could do it better myself? Was that comment necessary? It was bad enough to listen to him in dead silence or him periodically talking to himself when he would be searching. I would think twice about getting this company as your carrier or ask for help. I thought that was the job of that associate?
