Roslindale Pediatrics is by far the BEST hands down!!! The doctors are great. My kids love the nurses and mds, especially Alicia with her rainbow crocs. She is caring, kind and great with the kids. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

To preface, I feel the staff and nurses here are wonderful and have never had bad experience in terms of the staff here. Unfortunately upon my last visit to Dr. Scheff he felt compelled to share some of his political beliefs with me, and told me how difficult it is for him to understand those who use "they/them" pronouns (which he made clear he shares with all the families who visit him) and other details about non-binary patients and their relationships. When the conversation fell to political issues I chose to not engage with his arguments, something which clearly bothered him as when I was leaving my appointment he told me in my future work to "be fair to conservative viewpoints" despite my not disrespecting or disregarding his political beliefs at any point during my visit. It is also worth noting I brought up none of these issues myself, and simply wanted to have a normal checkup and head on home. I would advise any parents whose children may have non-traditional identities to avoid Dr. Scheff, as this lack of professionalism, especially from someone in a positon of power seeing children all day long, is something I would hate to see any young people have to endure. I was happy to know that this would be one of my last visits with Dr. Scheff, and can't emphasize enough how disturbing it would be for a child who may be questioning their gender to be told by their doctor, eh it just doesn't make sense to me.

I love this place. All my kids have either gone there and aged out or still go there. Love Dr. Scheff! You can't go wrong with any of the doctors there. Staff is always friendly and nice. For the most part you are in and out. The environment is clean and inviting.
