I made a reservation for 5pm at the winery which was confirmed the day before. After driving 4 hours to get there, we walked in and were told the reservation would not be honored because of a wine club event. If you aren't taking reservations, then why would you confirm it the day of and not cancel it? This is disappointing, but not the full reason for my 1 star review. The shorter, bald man with glasses and derby hat who spoke to my friend and I was one of the rudest people I have ever met. We weren't upset or angry, just disappointed when told the reservation wouldn't be honored. He spoke over us, and just kept saying "bye, bye" over and over again. I feel like he could have offered us one glass of wine over Tildio's mistake on the reservation or just not been a jerk. There was a lot of room available for a compromise. We will never be back. EDIT: after the response below from the owner, I triple checked that I received no calls from Tildio and verified through OpenTable that the reservation was never cancelled. I even emailed the winery through their webpage and got zero response. Perhaps the owner should "cOrReCt ThE nArRaTiVe" of the employee. There are a lot of fantastic wineries in the Chelan area, so it won't be hard for you to avoid this one at all costs.

What a fun find. Beautiful setting looking over one of the small lakes on the east side of Lake Chelan. Very Friendly and knowledge staff.. boasting one of the first female winemakers in the US. They have a nice dog friendly patio with a great view, one of our dogs even made a new friend! The wines are also top notch. Swing by.if you're in the area!

Wonderfully relaxing and out of the way of the main hustle-and-bustle of busy Lake Chelan. The staff at Tildio were kind and thoughtful, and we felt comfortable and safe enjoying wine on the patio during the pandemic. (The OpenTable reservation system was great, guaranteeing us a table, and the patio is spaced out accordingly.) Try the Sauvignon Blanc! It’s so good. Definitely will be visiting again!
