Best steak I've had in Metro West. Definitely comfort food, with very little refinement. The food and drinks are reasonably priced for this day and age. The service was excellent. I took off one star because the décor desperately needs updating. I'll be back.

Update!!! Terrible experience!! Ugh! UPDATE!! My wife and I got take out one night a few weeks ago. We ordered one whole chicken with mashed and asparagus and one shrimp risotto. The chicken was bland and tasteless AND it was only half a chicken so that was a rip off. Then my wife saw her food and it looked like an appetizer not a full meal. I am really disappointed in Oregon. We thought they were much better than this!! We’ll never go back! This is my old review: This place has been my wife’s and my radar for sometime and decided to finally go there. This place apparently has a rich and colorful history. It use to be a speakeasy during prohibition. When you enter this place it has a really nice vibe. It reminded me of an English bed and breakfast. Not very big inside but very cozy and decorated tastefully. There is a very nice small bar area with a couple of tables where you can have dinner. The dining room has about a dozen tables for a nice relaxing dinner. The wait staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They are noted for their steaks an I can tell you it’s a well deserved reputation. The steak comes out perfectly ook with a beautiful char and fresh vegetables and mash potatoes. They also give you a fresh breadbasket with a tasty oil dip. Topping off the meal was a great crème brûlée, one of the best I’ve ever had! They have a very nice outside seating area which my wife and I will be visiting next spring! This place is a rare gem and I am sorry it took us so long to visit

No idea how this place doesnt have a month long waitlist. Unassuming speakeasy with absolutely delicious food. Great variety on the menu and very friendly staff.

Great meal! Sautéed calamari is a nice change from your typical fried calamari and "the steak" is to die for, cooked perfectly and definitely benefits from a well seasoned cast iron pan. My friend raved about the beef bourguignon, and to round it out, we enjoyed wonderful creme brulee.
