Always searching for another new bakery while visiting NJ shore and after reading all the outstanding reviews on this Manasquan location, stopped by. Even though they are open for regularbusiness hours, the baked items don't last long. I parked and ran in to encounter a quaint, cozy establishment with glass cases full if baked goods. One artichoke, goat cheese, tomato and egg quiche to go, $24 plus a peach scone and two mini pies: one key lime and the other banana chocolate creme. Some savory & some sweet, to go!

Seems most folks are on here ranting about the pies on here.... while the two "minis" I've had the opportunity to devour over the last couple of weeks were certainly worthy of silent nod of appreciation.... but seriously... I see not one mention to the brownies.... HANDS DOWN BEST BROWNIES EVER!!!

I love this place! The cream pies are made with real cream and the chocolate is top rate. The crust is flaky and flavorful. The apple pie is one of our favorites. It's not too sweet, the apples are tender and delicious. My family comes to Manasquan once a year and Sunburst Pie Co is a must for us. Last year they were closed during our visit. This year after our 3-hr drive we went directly to Sunburst and arrived 2 minutes after closing. The wonderful staff let me come in and I bought 2 delicious pies, apple crumb and chocolate coconut cream. We savored every bite. These are the best pies in a 200 mile radius!
