A must stop for any music lover. The back room is jaw dropping with wall to wall rows of records. A huge selection of CDs and Cassettes are right next to said gold mine. If you can find your way out of there before closing time, there are some awesome clothes and jewelry up front and throughout that is all produced ethically and most locally! Can’t say enough great things about Tumbleweed’s. Been my favorite place in the world since I first walked in the back 10 years ago.

Decided to stop in and see what they had, we ate in town from Virginia. The store was very nice, organized and with a good selection of clothing. My wife found what she wanted and the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for that hippie look stop in. The owner and girl who rang us up were very polite. Next time we are in town we will stop again. Thank you.

the record section is great but the store itself sucks. everything is ridiculously overpriced (and no, it’s not because the clothes are ethically sourced, because the same brands are available in many other places for much cheaper) and the lady that’s always working at the register has horrid vibes. i wouldn’t usually make a review like this but if you’re running a hippie store i think it’s important to have a friendly demeanor when you speak with customers. every time i walk into this place i feel like my friends and i are completely unwelcome- i understand being cautious of teens in a hippie store because of how many people steal, but it’s not good practice to assume the worst of your customers, especially if they’re returning customers. i’ve also had this lady lie to me to try to get me to buy stuff. just such a negative environment overall. not sure what this lady’s name is but you’ll know her when you see her. i really wish it wasn’t this way because aside from this lady the store is cool. still not a good place to go if you’re a hippie looking to support your fellow humans. a good place to go if you want to satisfy your aesthetic needs (and you have $60 to spend on a tie dyed tank top.)
