LOVED IT!! So much NATURE to see! I travel and usually look for places to get my speed walk on...well, this is the first time I took my ear phones off and walked!! After I was done, I went back around AGAIN!! I had a squirrel to LAY IN THE MIDDLE of my pathway and look at me....SERIOUSLY! I walked slowly around him, while he put his head up and watched me. Then he got up, walked, did a hop, and stared at me. I think he was wanting some nuts & I had nothing to give him!! I wish I could post a clip. It was the cutest thing ever to happen to me in the Nature Zone! Lots to see...Deer, chipmunks or ground squirrels, squirrels, orange fish...?, turtles, ALL KINDS OF BIRDS! Fungi. Even dead stuff! I guess, I had some excitement!! ***NO filters used on pics, just cropped some. All pics as I saw it...

I absolutely love coming here. Every time I am in the area I make sure and plan some time to stop here. So many sites and what an incredible blend of woodland, marsh and lake habitats. An excellent birding hotspot!

Only if they are leashed, but there is a limit of how many dogs you can bring with you due to the narrow nature of trails. Nevertheless, Small dogs are mostly welcome, but giant dogs are strictly limited in how many you are allowed to bring.
The beach is probably a mile or more from the parking area. Not sure about regulations, but also not sure you want to hike with a boat.
No you can not because it is a Nature Reserve
We have had lots of rain. It is possible for that day or two it was closed
Yes but please be sure to have them leased because there have been talks of not allowing them because of others not respecting that some people are afraid of dogs. (Even the nice doggies..)
