Horrible communication. I’ve had my medication filled with Publix for years and they recently decided they could no longer fill my prescription (at this point I’ve gone days without it.) I called them multiple times over the last week to check the status of my medication and they never mentioned this being an issue. I’ve never had so many recurring issues with a Publix pharmacy except this one.

Reviews concerning the staff here are spot on. Apparently publix corporate is fine with it and that's even more disgusting. Additional note, if your prescription is sent directly from the doctor, you apparently have to also call and remind them to fill the prescription they received or they just simply will not fill it. For me, the result of that is that since they couldn't be bothered to fill my newest prescription for 3 days after refilling my regular meds, I must now pay for an uber twice a month, every month. And less than a week apart so all out of the same check. So now I get to cut out such "luxuries" as food one week each month to pay for my now doubled commute. So I guess keeping the staff they have in spite of countless complaints is Publix's not so subtle way of saying they'd rather you spend your money at uber than spend it buying their food. A strange business model to say the least.

It is such a shame that the Publix Corporation has allowed the pharmacy at Southgate to continue to be staffed by Jesse and his "support staff". While the current staff absolutely belongs in the medical industry, they alone are the glaring exception to Publix Superior Customer Service. They operate like discount AIs, programed by an angry child. They frequently make personal remarks within earshot of clientele. They are uninformed and downright dangerous when it comes to counseling and drug information. It is only a matter of time before somebody contacts a lawyer regarding client targeting, lost prescriptions, miscommunication, and outright unprofessionalism while handling controed substances. The staffs inability to communicate, even among themselves is breathtaking. They can't even keep their unfounded and misleading excuses straight between themselves. The only thing I've witnessed them excelling at is cya. Avoid this Publix Pharmacy. Save yourself the hassle of continuing to try and continuing to be told that they cannot get "YOUR" medication because "THEY HAVE LIMITED PATIENT SPACE"/they have too many things they already stock/ and your insurance won't cooperate. When they helpfully offer other Public public location pharmacies regardless of where you live do yourself a favor and take the recommendation. You were going to end up there anyway

The current staff is rude and not helpful. I've been going here as long as they have been there. They were allways The The Best. Since Brian Has retired it has all gone downhill. I went to pick my medications on Monday one was missing the young man said come tomorrow after 3 . No worries. I came back the next day. I went at 6:30 Not ready can you come tomorrow it will take 30 minutes. I said I'll wait 2 hours later after they knew I was waiting They made me wait intentionally. This is the 3rd time. They are not helpful. Intentionally.
