This is a great local game store. Not only will they have everything you need for your game but the sales people are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It is not uncommon for board games to be played while you visit, Magic the Gathering or dungeons and dragons being played in the back room. Always worth stopping by. They do a lot of event as well

Very cool card shop. Smaller, mostly specializes in D&D and Magic. Owner was super nice and plenty of space to move around.

Went in with my boyfriend to look for dnd stuff. I haven’t been in this store since precovid and I was honestly expecting it all to look the same and protocol to be down like in most places. I was happily mistaken. I am so happy to see masks as a requirement still. And as much as I miss the table top set up it’s so refreshing to see a business take the pandemic seriously. The man working at the counter was really good at his job too. He definitely could have talked me into hundreds of dollars worth of dice if I where there any longer. Keep it up and keep safe ♥️

I've been going to this shop for years (since it first opened!), even after moving 40 minutes away. The customer service is really top notch: staff is knowledgeable and try to fit your interests to a game, not just sell you the latest fad. If I have a specific game in mind to purchase, I know I can always call ahead to verify availability (and they'll order it for me if it's not in stock). The shop is clean and inclusive, and it's friendly to families and hardcore gamers alike. Seriously, this place is a gem.

We currently only buy Magic: The Gathering cards.
FNM starts at 7pm.
Unfortunately, none of our current distributors carry Cardfight Vanguard, and so we are unable to stock it. If there is enough future interest, we may make new accounts with additional distributors.
You can find a post of our Covid policies on our facebook page under this link: https://www.facebook.com/criticalhitcleveland/posts/10165004012495171 To summarize the larger post, we are enforcing masks, have multiple hand sanitizing options, greatly reduced maximum occupancy, floor marks to assist with social distancing, etc. We are open for indoor retail, but Curbside Pickup is available with an album of our shelf stock updated weekly for online browsing. We have removed all of our play space until such time as it is ethical to host and run play again. We also have a number of additional practices that don't directly involve any clientele, such as added filtration on our HVAC system, regular disinfectant cleaning, sanitizing after any cash handling, etc.
We only buy TCG singles, specifically only Magic the Gathering cards.

There aren't any store-run D&D campaigns at the moment, but we host a number of games. Check out the RPGs at Critical Hit Games facebook group to see what people are running, find resources for games, or post a game you are planning to run. Keep an eye out for the Gamemasters Guild; they do short campaigns and one shots, run RPGs every other week, and rotate through GMs and systems regularly. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1966548893590196/?source_id=57170080170
If you come out to an X-wing open play night odds are good someone would be available to help teach you the game! (Or at least meet some people and schedule a learning game for another day)
The shop doesn't currently have a TO for Yu-Gi-Oh events.
We are a tabletop game store, and can't help with video games.
We stock Vallejo Game Color paints, brushes and supplies from Games & Gears, and a mix of other painting supplies. We also take special orders, and can help you find what else you may be looking for.
We can take special orders for Games Workshop product. There isn't enough shelf space for it to be stocked regularly. Please contact us to put in an order.
The Welcome Decks are a free teaching tool provided to Friendly Local Game Stores by Wizards of the Coast. Teach Magic to a new player in the shop using the Welcome Decks, and they can keep the set of two half-sized, single-color decks for free.

Currently there's not an official day set aside for modern tournaments because the attendance has been really low for several months. There is a group of people trying to get it restarted, and they are typically there on Fridays for the standard tournament. You could drop by then and speak with them.
