Nice clean facilities and so much to explore!

Nice park and good sized sites. Only 4 stars because our site has a hiking/walking trail going right through it. Only electrical at site, you need to fill with water prior and dump going out.

Awesome place to walk your dog, and run and ride your bike.

Beautiful park, friendly Ranger staff. RV sites lack sewage and water but there is a dump station and water faucets which you can use to fill up your tank. The bathhouse facilities have showers which alas do not really stay hot, and have those industrial grade heads which are abrasive, there's nice dishwashing stations as well. It's very conveniently located and not terribly far from Boston, maybe a half hour drive. If you stay there I highly recommend going to Sugoi sushi in Braintree. Hard to believe this beautiful rustic charming state park is in the middle of Boston's exurbia.

Well it's not really a campground as it's main purpose. It's a state park with a campground. It's open year round as a park, so yes, you can walk, hike, bike there
If you have ma licence its 17.00 a night. Theyre strict about having a tent. , no tent no stay. Cant zz in car. Rvs no prob. Free dumping station. Not many food stores close. Plenty of wood to be found around. Showers are clean and free. If you have an rv. Your not homeless.😊 oh and two week max stay
Yes it is true. Horseback riding is listed on park website https://www.mass.gov/locations/wompatuck-state-park It is also listed on camping reservations so there may be setup for horse camp sites. If you can not find out information online I would drive to ranger/visitor center and get more info or grab a map there if it's closed. Try calling. Would be a beautiful place to horseback ride! https://www.reserveamerica.com/explore/wompatuck-state-park/MA/32628/overview
Many dog walkers have their dogs "off-leash". Usually the dogs are under "voice-control" but I'm not a dog expert.
Yes. You can check in late if you know your site, and will check-in in the morning.
The short answer is probably not, but no body knows for sure. I have been going there for years and have yet to see a bear or evidence of one. The black bear is the only bear in Massachusetts and while there have been reports over the years of people seeing what they thought could be a black bear in this park, the searches that followed these reports conducted by wildlife officials never turned up a bear of even much solid evidence of one. The official stance from wildlife workers and rangers that manage the area is that it is unlikely but not impossible that there are black bears here (probably very few of them if any). Black bears are typically very shy and docile compared to all other types of bears. If you are camping in the park, simply store all food sealed and a good distance away from your camp elevated on a tree when you are not using it and you can expect to be safe from black bears even if they do exist here. You can also contact the park staff for more/better info.

Not sure you might want to check with the DCR website that might have the answers
Probably not, the rules are 2 weeks per park between Memorial Day and Labor Day, then each park relaxes a bit on the length of your stay, depending on the park, but I'm pretty sure most of them close down in the fall for the year, also depending on the park. It wouldn't be easy to figure out, and I don't really think it would work, but you're more than welcome to call the camping parks and give it your best.
Yea I would just call or ask before doing it. They will most likely say yes
Nantasket Beach is free for campers and definitely a nice spot. Not on the premises, but nearby.
I don't believe there is any rule against it.
Camping season typically runs from early May until Columbus Day weekend.
Great place only site rentals
Best place we have found near is Middleboro mini storage. $60 per month. There is no storage at the park
I'm not sure about Lycamobile. AT&T was weak though. We were able to connect with a cell booster antenna.
There are fresh water fill stations at either end of the dump station. There are spigots sprinkled throughout the park, but no site has its own water hook up. Best advice, dump and fill when you arrive and again when you leave.
There are many sites that accommodate 35ft, as well as a dozen or so pull through.
Plenty here now 6/22/18 Usually plenty unless its holiday. Walk in is cheaper too
The park is open to the public for walking and bicycling Dawn to Dusk.
Camping overnight cost money
That's allowed there..
27 bucks Massachusetts res.
There is a south field area open to hunting only in the fall. May only be bow hunting.
State Park's don't allow that
No seasonal two weeks was the limit before
Yes, dogs are allowed and required to be on a leash. But you will find most pet owners will not obey this rule.
