"Riverton Historical Society "! I know about the history of area, i like to share. Relocation of famijys to Riverton years after WWII ! I've been living in Alaska, raised the kids, traveled all over world before and after family! Visited all 50 States, & i've seen, explored, lived in or near, more "National Parks "then most people know exist! Lived in many countries learning the culture and just traveling around to see what i had only seen in magazines. #Estonia I had to go there. That wss after a family had been relocaded to Riverton, from a "Concentration Camp "around # Estonia . At the time #Estonia was not a country anymore, that is where this family was from. born & raised ! yes, I remember their names!

It is a very far walk from the train station to get to the New Leaf Tea Room. I would be sure to pack enough water and snacks for the journey. Depending on your endurance and athleticism, it may be wise to begin training for the walk before attempting it alone. Be sure to wear appropriate shoes, and you might want to pack an extra pair of shoes in the event that you wear out the soles of your shoes on the journey. You may find the New Leaf Tea Room to be a worthwhile reward for what may seem like an insurmountable feat. Remember to pace yourself and plan accordingly for the journey back to the train station. Good luck!
