Disrespectful and rude. Shop is dingy looking but that’s expected out of a lot of these African salons. First experience and treated like I was 5 when trying to privately negotiate pricing, and it was made a public issue by the owner in front of everyone. Very unprofessional and nasty, not worth the hair to be disrespected at all. Brother got starter locs and they are already flaking. The curls in my braids aren’t even together and look horrendous, several of my braids are weirdly bent, AND tried to overcharge on top of that, very funny. She hovered over me and snatched the money from my hand as if I was gonna run out. I am a college student and I bet if my mother was there it would’ve been a different story. Probably because Hawa was mad so overall unprofessional the customer is always right.

I had a good 1st experience! The shop has Great braiders! Nice music and Hawa is a Nice, cool woman! I highly recommend this shop. My cornroll High ponytail came out perfect! Thanks Ladies!

I used to do my hair with hawa years ago! And then I came back to her on Friday 8, she did micro braids and it looks beautiful she was fast and professional and shop was clean! Highly recommend
