Growing up my parents an us kids would camp here all the time. I have suck fond memories of this camp ground. I absolutely love this place. In my opinion this is a true campground. Back in the woods an your not crowded. Me an my wife came here for our honeymoon. An now I’m happy to take my kids there too. The rangers are always nice never had any issues with them. If you have never been there try it I promise you won’t regret it.

Nice place to camp if you don't mind pine. Clearly marked trails and tons of fungi to look at. Sad part is someone during our stay loosened the bolts on one of our tires and we lost a wheel over a guard rail on the drive home.

I randomly found this state park on google maps and was glad I did. It’s very easy to navigate through and has beautiful scenery. There is a lake with a sandy beach front, which features an area for swimming. They have a variety of pavilions for parties with playgrounds and accessible grills. If you like exploring there are a few trails to take. The overlook trail is obviously uphill, but the view is decent.

My husband and 3 yo daughter went around 10 am and hiked the nature trail. My daughter loved it and did amazing considering it was 1.3 miles. We then went to the beach and picnicked near by. It was a wonderful day.

Thanks so much. Thank you for all of the info!
Absolutely, all PA fishing regs apply. No fishing in swimming area. Lake is cold water so like Pappy mentioned trout is the game fish.
Pets are allowed in a specific section of the campground, but not on the beach.
According to a Google search looks like; Beginner to Archery @10am, Park Scavenger Hunt @2pm.
Sorry, we do not have camper storage.
