Nightly entertainment on the Square. Many special events, car shows, arts and craft fairs scheduled throughout the year . Also several good restaurants to dine at.

Heard band sugar vibe. Not impressed. Music to me was for younger crowd. Didn't know hardly any of songs and hardly anyone was dancing either.
As far as the live music in spanish springs, they only have 1 enterance to the entertainment area and they count the people going in to limit congestion. There are no seats so you have to bring your own. People stand and dance which can make people get close, but if you want to stay further away, you can do so. I would say they have good covid practice.
The Sharon use to be a church is now a performing center. St Timothy's Catholic church is just North off the Spanish springs and hope Lutheran is on 466 and Morse Blvd. There is a Methodist Church behind Publix on Wedgewood lane. Others are listed in Saturday villages newspaper
Is there a restaurant where two Jay use to be?

Good question Julian. When we were there. Things were closed. Sorry, I couldn't help you.
Is Spanish Springs part of the Villages? Are Spanish Springs owners able to take part in The Villages amenitirs?
Renting a cart would depend on what you want to do and how mobile you are. You can easily walk every where in the square. Shops and restaurants all nearby. If you want to venture further a cart is a fun way to do the villages. Otherwise a car does just as well.
There are multiple parallel parking spots near the entrance, a small parking lot behind the fountains near the theater. Or park by the Publix parking lot and walk on over.
