Great little park with great views of the river valley and mountains as well aspavilions and picnic tables. There was not a soul there during our visit.

Always one of the best places to visit. Old town with old memories. We love visiting here. Beautiful overlook! Also has a good picnic area. They also have restrooms.

Many overlooks give a view on mountains and rivers. This one includes the town. At this height, the town looks like the models on a big miniature train set. Great perspective of scale. There are picnic tables, but they don't take advantage of the view. You can also hike the three trails.

They shut down lake Augusta outfitters .. you might be able to find someone local to rent to you

It has been down for a few weeks due to the heavy rain they might not go back up with it this year
