Positive Lyme tests in June and August from fluid drained from my knee with Ortho. Prescribed 30 days of doxy in June and had 3 knee aspirations. Knee blew up again in August (unable to walk both times it swelled up). A 4th knee aspiration, prescribed doxy again and referred to infectious disease. I had to call ID and ortho almost every single day for a week and each time was told to just keep waiting. ID stating they never got the referral and Ortho stating they sent it. 14 days later at my follow up (at CP ortho; closer to my home), was told I, “still need to see ID, there’s nothing more we can do, keep taking doxy and we will give you the number to an NP who treats Lyme but doesn’t take insurance.” Both Malta and CP Ortho aware of my continued pain, no relief from second round of doxy and inability to walk properly. My PCP referred me back to Ortho. Diagnosed by both my PCP and Ortho with Lyme Arthritis but both unwilling to continue treating it or help facilitate both of their referrals to ID. This is why people end up going to the ER.

Dr. Speert was worthless. The man was seemingly mentally elsewhere during my appointment. His few words were condescending, with his exaggerated verbal parroting of my concerns. Such a waste of time. What ever happened to caring about your patient enough to want to know what ails them?

Dr stein did an awful job saw me for 5 min did nothing. Then after paying $100 and being told I was all paid I get another bill for $65. My shoulder is not better in anyway now I gotta find a doctor that will actually examine me and not just take my money. Do not recommend orthony or Dr Stein
