Ruined my hair had a perm and asked for waves hair with curls. I had been letting my hair grow for 8 months and wanted to be able to keep the length. So he used the largest rods that the shop has. But he must have over processed my hair because it is so tight that I look like I have an afro,not only that he said that he was goi ng to trim it he scalped me. My hair is between 1 inch to 2 inches long I look terrible, I am an old lady who did not want an afro I have woke up in the night crying over my hair I have spent $40 extra trying to control the frizz I have also spent money on hats and wigs because I don't want anyone to see me as I am . The manager Tricia had me come in 2 weeks after I had my perm and she conditioned my hair and then she did a lot of procedures to it to help me and she curled it with a curling iron which straightened it out and then she brushed and it looked as good as it could considering it was still cut to extremes . It's still only 1 to 2 inches long in. In the back at the neck it's like a quarter of an inch and it's only a quarter of an inch for 1 inch up . When I was child I didn't get my hair cut until I was 13 years old I had a long ponytail and I went to the beauty parlor and they cut off the entire ponytail and handed it to me and I went into shock. This haircut is as abusive to me as having my ponytail cut off and hand it into my hand. I am 77 years old and it's going to take one year to grow my hair back out so that I can wear it the way I want it, if I live that long. So thank you Trish for all that you help me with she didn't charge me which was such a blessing and I will only come to her if I ever come there again.
