Went in to get something cleared up for my dad after he passed away. The young lady that helped me was phenomenal very happy very helpful took me less than 10 minutes and she had everything cleared up I think people give this place a bad rap because they have a bad attitude going in. Even the security guard the door was nice!

Incompetent. Sent a fax of an appeal. They never received it. Sent a hard copy. They never received it. Called. They told me to stop calling them and call the general number. Called the general number and they told me to call the local office. Absolutely useless.

Honestly if I could give them negative stars I would. I had set up an appointment to discuss something I was told could help me with my benefits only for the agent who actually called me for said appointment have no clue why she was calling. After discussing what was told to me the month before she put me on hold only for the phone to hang up on me 10 minutes later. I try to get back in contact with same agent only to be put to voicemail. I left my voicemail and waited two days for a call back only to get nothing. I have now spent 45 minutes just trying to reach literally anybody so I can get some kind of answer only to be given a busy signal or just hung up on again.

I have been trying daily for weeks to get through to this office. I need to change my name due to divorce. The phone rings and rings, then eventually hangs up on me! I am not given the option to leave a message! This office is poorly run and management should be counseled. The rest of the world has reopened since Covid and remaining closed is a true disservice to the public. Answer your phones or give the public the option to leave a message to be returned at a later time.

I applied on line for a replacement Social security card for my sister and after putting in her charge # for $39 it then required that she send her original birth certificate but did not say where to send it. How do I fix this for her?

Call social security number tell them you need a benefit notification letter
you need to apply for a new ss card to match your birth certificate
They do not. You have to do everything by mail right now.
What time is the social security office open
You can call the 800 number, schedule online, or just stop in to the office.
Yes unless he is retired i have to wait till he retires where he works unless he dead i can collect widow pention that all
You earned it. You should take it.
Yes because of the spam and fraudulant actions going on. I would go either first in the morning or 3 or 4 pm less people then .
No we're going on plan B And have applied for it
Call local office to ask whick documents you need - then take them in to office
Yes, with about a 30-40 minute wait. The wait is not bad.
Phone
Never, sorry.
It depends on what you're going for. If to fill out the application for Medicare they will give you an appointment . So you have to go twice because I couldn't get the local number just the 800 number.
There a number to call or u can go up report them
Go online at www.ssa.gov. I believe there's a section on there that tells you what to do.
You go to ur local office
If your son is under 18 you have to go up to SSA and they have to physically see him.
