This place has so much going for it - Atmosphere, location, staff, clientele... Sadly my most recent visit confirms what I discovered previously: The Lodge desperately needs to clean the beer lines for their draft beers. Every beer I've had there in recent visits has been foul. The beers either have the "buttery funk" of diacetyl; or they are sour (in the wrong way) or they stink of wet dog. To spend $18 on two drafts, and to then leave the majority of both beers unfinished? Not an experience I'm likely to repeat again. Get it together! Either invest in the equipment and do it yourselves, or hire a service. The beer at The Lodge is disgusting.
