Nice place, huge variety of different plants. Giant live Oaks, some Cedar too. I live not even a 10 min drive, never knew the place was there. Glad I was able to check it out, along with my daughter.

We visit any time we're in the area. Probably yearly and enjoy the peace and beauty of this quiet oasis. Always something to wonder over.

Yes should be quite easy to navigate around most of the grounds Other than the small hiking trails there
No entrance or parking fees, but donations to keep it going are greatly appreciated.
Seems safe, no one was there to regulate anyway, I would say go for it.
Nothing like that there.
There is not, but there are little potted plants you can purchase-I think.
Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the Gardens. Please read the home page of our website for service animal policies. Bob Gilpatrick, Director
The garden is manned by volunteers and I know they accept donations at the front. I don't see how it would be a problem as long as you're there during their open hours
Don't have a number for the gardens, yes it's free and the parking is free.
Yes it is free to go. Donation boxes are by the main entrance and the the bathrooms off to the left. There is also a plant stand with plants for sale by the bathrooms.
The Gardens is open daily except Christmas and New Year's days. We have volunteer work days on Wednesday and Saturday mornings of every week till about noon. That's when the volunteers are are on site. Otherwise, the gates are open to the public but they are on their own. Bob Gilpatrick, President Botanical Gardens of Volusia, Inc.
